Just Add Power’s AV-Over-IP Solutions Deliver Innovation and Flexibility at CEDIA Expo 2022

AV-Over-IP Leader Will Showcase MaxColor, Warp Engine, and 718KVM and 749KVM Transmitters; Address New Opportunities in Residential and

 Resimercial Applications

SEMINOLE, Fla. Sept. 8, 2022 Just Add Power, a leader in video-over-IP distribution, will display its latest solutions at CEDIA Expo 2022 that address 4K UHD, video wall, and KVM trends in residential and resimercial applications. The company’s product lineup will include the MaxColor™ 4K60 transmitter and receiver family, with new models to support resimercial projects; Warp Engine transmitter/receiver to rotate any HDMI source and create artistic video walls with displays mounted at any angle; and the field-modifiable 718KVM and 749KVM transmitters that support KVM out of the box and can be upgraded to enable full AVP functionality. The company will also host its annual guitar giveaway as part of its effort to bring awareness to the Guitars for Vets (G4V) program.

“There are all manner of opportunities out there for installers, but there are a lot of complex roadblocks that stand in the way of growing businesses to become more profitable,” said Taft Stricklin, sales team manager at Just Add Power. “At CEDIA Expo 2022, installers will see how we’ve applied the same modular approach to solving these pain points so that it’s easier than ever to complete homes and resimercial applications with the best, most versatile AV-over-IP ecosystem available. They’ll see nothing but upside and flexibility at our booth. Plus, you can be entered to win a guitar!”

Just Add Power’s award-winning MaxColor 4K60 Series transmitter and receiver family provides integrators with an affordable and scalable 4K UHD distribution platform to natively support today’s 4K source content over existing network infrastructures. Available today and shipping, the MaxColor distributes video at 36-bit color and 4:4:4 chroma over existing Cat 5/Cat 6 cable, eliminating the expense of upgrading to fiber and buying costly network switches. In addition, the transmitter and receiver support MPEG downstreaming for connected devices, such as a laptop or tablet. The series delivers instant, seamless switching, 4K up- and downscaling, and HDR management while supporting all lossless audio formats and HDR10, HLG, and Dolby Vision for the best viewing experience. Additional features include image pop, push, and pull as well as integrated control. The company will also offer a first look at its MaxColor RX2 and TX2, which offer the same 4K benefits as the current models with the addition of USB ports for KVM applications.

Installers will be able to take on and boost revenue on resimercial projects with Just Add Power’s Warp Engine. It allows installers to rotate any HDMI source — cable boxes, media players, game systems, cameras, and more — in a Just Add Power matrix in 0.1-degree increments in real time for incredibly low latency. The rotated image can then be sent to an unlimited number of receivers in the network, allowing for the creation of massive artistic video walls using a single Warp Engine. Fully HDCP-2.2-compliant, the unit can be added to any Just Add Power 3G or 2G/3G system running the Just OS platform.

In addition, the new 718KVM and 749KVM transmitters will be shown. Built in response to the incredible customer demand for the 718AVP and 749AVP transmitters at a time when the solutions’ Dolby downmixing chipset is in short supply, the new transmitters support keyboard, video, and mouse (KVM) as well as stereo audio breakout right out of the box. The transmitters are field-modifiable so that they can take on all features of the 718AVP/749AVP once chips become more readily available. At the show, attendees will see the exciting fulfillment of this strategy, protecting dealer investments and giving them a path toward full AVP performance.

At the Just Add Power booth, there will be daily guitar giveaways to bring greater awareness to G4V’s mission to provide relief to struggling veterans through the healing power of music and community. The company has supported the cause for six years, donating guitars to the program annually. This year, the company is donating nine Epiphone acoustic guitars. Attendees can enter for a chance to win one of three Epiphone Slash Les Paul Standard electric guitars.
