SFM Inc., a leading distributor of professional audio visual and entertainment products since 1978, has been appointed Canadian distributor for Just Add Power. Steve Freytag of SFM will act as a dedicated Just Add Power product manager in the region, working to build Just Add Power’s reputation within the CEDIA and Commercial AV channels in Canada.

SFM is stocking all current Just Add Power products including the newest 3G Ultra HD over IP products, which allow integrators to build any-size of 4K-capable, HDCP 2.2-compliant HDMI matrix over a Gb network, with built-in 4K to 1080p up/downscaling. The seamless HDCP handling and scaling capabilities of 3G Ultra HD over IP receivers lets 4K / HDCP 2.2-encrypted devices to be displayed in 2160p on 4K / HDMI 2.0 panels and in Full HD 1080p simultaneously on earlier HDMI 1.4 TVs. Similarly a Full HD 1080p source can be upscaled to 2160p by a Just Add Power 3G receiver for viewing on 4K / HDCP 2.2 panels as well as Full HD 1080p displays.
